CBD Punjab Chief Executive Officer Imran Amin visited NSIT City in Lahore this week to review the progress of development work, inspecting ongoing construction and chairing a high-level review meeting at the site.
The meeting brought together senior officials and project contractors, including Director Project Management Asif Iqbal, Director Construction Asif Babar, Director Architecture and Planning Sameer Aftab Sial, and NSIT City Project Manager Yasir Saifullah.
Main entrance gate structure complete
During the briefing, Asif Iqbal updated the CEO on infrastructure and construction activity, reporting that the core structural work of the main entrance gate has now been completed. Teams have begun installing the project’s official logo at the gate.
Imran Amin directed the execution teams to accelerate hardscaping and landscaping along the main entrance access road, stressing that these works must be completed without delay.
Celestia IT Tower reaches a key milestone
The briefing also covered the flagship Celestia IT & Office Tower, where concrete pouring for the tower’s final slab has been completed. Work on the building’s external glass façade is progressing rapidly, according to the project update.
Speaking during the visit, Imran Amin described NSIT City as an important project for Pakistan’s digital economy, adding that CBD Punjab was using all available resources to complete the development within the prescribed timeline. He also emphasised that all work must meet international architectural and infrastructure standards.
“NSIT City stands as a guarantor for the bright future of Pakistan’s digital economy,” the CEO said, adding that the authority remained committed to timely completion and global standards.
What this means for CBD Punjab
The completion of the final slab means the Celestia IT & Office Tower has effectively topped out structurally, shifting the flagship project into the façade and fit-out stages — a closely watched milestone for investors tracking delivery timelines. The finished entrance gate and the push on landscaping suggest the authority is now prioritising the visible, public-facing elements of the IT city as it moves toward operational phases.
