CBD Punjab has taken its landmark projects directly to Saudi investors, sharing a joint pavilion with the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) at the three-day Saudi-Pak Real Estate Expo (SPREX) 2026 in Lahore.
The expo, organised by the Saudi-Pakistani Business Council, ran from 21 to 23 October 2026 and concluded on Friday, 23 October. Reporting on the event puts the Saudi side at 19 participating entities with a delegation of around 60 representatives, alongside Pakistani officials, business leaders and investors. The expo was inaugurated by Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan.
Through their joint pavilion, CBD Punjab — the Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA) — and RUDA presented their flagship projects, development progress and investment opportunities, pitching Punjab’s emerging commercial destinations and planned urban developments to visitors from the Saudi business community.
Senior dignitaries visited the joint pavilion during the event, including Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Dr Rajeh Tami Al-Baqami, Chairman of the Saudi-Pak Business Council Prince Mansour bin Mohammad Al-Saud, and Dr Gohar Ijaz of the council’s Pakistan chapter. Imran Amin, who heads both CBD Punjab and RUDA as chief executive, introduced the dignitaries to the two authorities’ teams and briefed them on flagship projects and investment prospects. Waseem Siddiq, Director Marketing at CBD Punjab, and Sheheryar Rana, Director Sales and Marketing at RUDA, presented the projects to visitors.
CBD Punjab’s chief executive described the response as encouraging, saying the expo gave both authorities a platform to showcase Punjab’s landmark projects and investment potential to the Saudi business community and to build long-term partnerships.
What this means for CBD Punjab: the appearance puts CBD Punjab’s projects in front of Gulf capital at a moment when the authority is also marketing plots through its own auctions in Lahore. A showcase, however, is not a sale. The coverage of SPREX 2026 reports interest and engagement, but no investment amounts, commitments or signed deals linked to CBD Punjab were announced in that reporting — so the real test will be whether any of the conversations at the pavilion convert into actual investment in CBD Punjab projects.
