LDA Sets 3 December Dates for LDA City Balloting and Technology Park Auction

The Lahore Development Authority has set 3 December as the key date for two of its flagship Lahore ventures, with balloting for LDA City’s Pine projects and a commercial auction at the Lahore Technology Park both tied to that day.

At a meeting chaired by LDA Director General Tahir Farooq on Monday, officials reviewed plans for Pine Executive and Pine Access within LDA City, as well as the upcoming commercial auction for the Lahore Technology Park near Arfa Karim Tower on Ferozepur Road. The authority said plots for all three ventures have been launched.

In the first phase of Pine Access, 8-marla and 2-kanal commercial plots have been introduced. Pine Executive, meanwhile, offers 1-kanal residential plots in a prime area of Pine Avenue. Those residential plots will be allotted through a balloting process, with a payment plan spanning two years.

The deadline to participate in the balloting for Pine Access and Pine Executive is 3 December, and the allotment ballot itself will take place on 10 December. The same meeting also covered the Lahore Technology Park, where commercial plots measuring 1 kanal, 15 marlas and 8 marlas will be sold through a public auction on 3 December, with the option of easy instalment plans. The park sits on Ferozepur Road, adjacent to Arfa Karim Tower.

LDA Director General Tahir Farooq described the Pine sector and the Lahore Technology Park as an excellent investment opportunity for citizens, and pointed to the 1-kanal residential project being developed in Pine Executive. The meeting also received a briefing on the separate LDA auction scheduled for 3 November at the Expo Centre in Johar Town, which this site has already covered.

No prices, reserve prices or plot counts for the December balloting and auction were given in the reporting, so buyers will need to wait for LDA’s detailed notices before judging individual plots. The report also does not say how many plots are on offer in the first phases.

What this means for CBD Punjab

For readers following CBD Punjab, this matters as a Lahore-wide supply signal rather than a CBD Punjab project announcement. LDA City balloting and a Ferozepur Road technology-park auction add formal, authority-backed commercial and residential supply on the same corridor where Lahore’s technology and business activity is concentrating, close to the Arfa Karim Tower area. That gives buyers and investors comparing CBD Punjab with the wider Lahore market a dated, concrete alternative to weigh — a December ballot with a two-year payment plan on the residential side, and an instalment-backed commercial auction on the technology side. It also sets a useful benchmark: how strongly these December events are taken up will say something about current appetite for planned Lahore plots generally, which is the same demand pool CBD Punjab’s own auctions draw on.
